Yes, I think it's pretty common with nicer receivers. I know my Onkyo
can accept it, but as far as I can tell the Raspberry Pi can't output
it. But I'm wondering if maybe I'm just

I hooked everything up, and the tablet app was able to access LMS on my

Does the optical out (digi+ board) have to be selected in the PCP
software?
Having recently acquired the appropriate hardware, I'm finally getting
around to ripping my SACDs and creating DSF files. Depending on what
hardware combinations I'm using, converting DSD to PCM at 44.1 or 88.2
or 176.4 is easy and works fine. There are a couple of quirks I'm
curious about,

No :-).
I really wanted to have the artwork as large as possible. And with most
Pi display cases offering more black framing than I'd consider elegant,
I don't see why I would want to add some black pixels. But that's
obviously

3. I've just installed LMS on the PCP. Same thing, although it took a
bit longer (a couple of minutes) before the stream got stuck. When it is
stuck, also the local PCP LMS becomes

Thanks bpa but my other RPi, without PCP, works fine and this has in
general been working well until this upgrade. I used to have
Windows-related issues with HLS that went away when you upgraded to
DASH.
Squeezelite is supposed to play AAC natively so I don't think it is
transcoding.

Well, I haven't found any issues with the ScreenshotApplet and luajit.
I've added the applet 'to git'

Many Windows LMS
Hi,
I've just updated from PCP 3.02 to 3.10 on a Pi 2B with HiFIBerry DAC+
Pro. My LMS is running on a Windows Server 2012R2 machine (latest
nightly, 1485931015) and I have the BBC iPlayer 1.4.9 plugin with DASH
transport enabled. I am outside of the UK.
Even since the update, when I try to
Another thing entirely, I would like to suggest adding a few fields that
would allow to serve a player identification and contact person in case
the thing needs adjusting/servicing.
I am thinking of information like: Description, location, an

Guys,
I am thinking of fitting a justboom amp (it seems more powerful than
others so I expect speaker choice would be relaxed) to a Pi 3 running
PiCorePlayer.
I would need to be able to inject audio from another source to overlay
short chime sounds to the music.
So I plan to setup the alsa mixer
My LMS has become a vital part of house.
I consider it an appliance. I expect it to "just be there" at all
times.
I would recommend a Debian Stable setup.
I've never had a server related problem.
The provided .deb file installs simply and reliably.
The hardware is an old Windows PC that couldn't
