- setup a piCorePlayer with no networking to play only local files from
USB drive
I wouldn't try to do this. The SB eco-system is heavily built around the
aspect of a networked system. Trying to get them all together without a
network is imho using the wrong tool to solve a problem. Other
hi psychokiller,
Some help can be found here:

pCP wasn't initially written to run standalone, but I think it is
possible.
Where have you installed LMS, locally?
The web GUI constantly asks LMS for pCP players on your system, so...

I've finally found it... Guess that asking community is kind of
magical!
I used Fing on android to find IP address
Thanks

Hi,
i'd like to install picoreplayer and LMS on a raspberry PI3. I
downloaded last version, flashed the card, installed it in RPI, plugged
the ethernet cable, plugged the RPI.
But i just can't find pCP on the LAN. I really feel like an idiot... I
used IPscan, NOTHING!
I really don't know what's
Hi all,
was just trying to install piCorePlayer on spare Raspberry I have laying
around to test it instead of Volumio or Rune, but cannot find much of
documentation/wiki for support.
All that I have found is the To-Do page on the piCorePlayer home page
but gives very little instructions on how
You can read gpio with pCP. Not sure what FHEM is, but I just run
python program to monitor gpio.

Hi Michael,
yes maybe you're right. It would be much easier to just setup an actual
raspian (stretch is out since yesterday :) ) where i can do as usual
what i need and then just adding squeezelite for the player function.
Thanks a lot for your help and sharing that idea to me!

I don't need that much in addition. Just using a sensor like

Hi, sorry for double posting my issue. I was redirected from the website
of piCorePlayer to the old thread for 2.0. Maybe you can fix that link
on the comment site.
I want to use piCorePlayer with Docker to keep on the Pi the Raspian.
Any idea if that will work? Honestley i'm not very familiar
Hi, i'm new to piCorePlayer and tested it yesterday.
But you're likely in the wrong thread. This is about the old version 2.0
What is about to run the piCorePlayer inside an Docker Container? So i
would use raspian + Docker. Then i would have anything i need on one
device. But i'm not
Hi, i'm new to piCorePlayer and tested it yesterday. It is a very nice
and easy to use image! I like it! The first device will be the
background music at my guest WC ;)
But for that i also need to use sensors via GPIO and to run FHEM on the
same device. The music only should start to play if
