Found it. Nice "Hidden SSID" option in the 'wifi settings' page. Pays to
look before posting.

My kids try to find the passphrase for the time-unlimited wireless

certainly not trivial. So I created a separate wireless network. I hid

The solution suggested worked perfectly. Thanks!

I'll look in the tar file. Meantime I grabbed your precompiled one and

Michael is right. My LMS on Ubuntu can't reach the internet while other
programs (installed on Ubuntu) and network hosts can.
Maybe I should be more specific describing my current system and network
configuration.
So I use Ubuntu server 18.

Yes, they do.

Let me check it out. It might be an issue with the command line tool.

Forgive me being "thick" but I cannot see the appropriate package for my
computer which I assume will need to be a later file name with amd64.deb
appended.

Thanks for the quick reply, my LMS server's HTTP port is 9002. I've set
that on the pCP in question and saved it. It's still not working when
directly issuing the command in an ssh session.
Looks like it worked to me. The sox binary is in the tar file.
Code:
tar: Removing leading '/' from member names
a tmp/slimserver-vendor-public-7.9-16Oct2018/sox/sox-build-amd64-
a tmp/slimserver-vendor-public-7.9-16Oct2018/sox/sox-build-amd64-/share
a tmp/slimserv
Hi. Patched ok and ran the modified buildme-freebsd.sh again. No luck it
seems. I can't see a compiled sox binary in there. Should I be looking
for it someplace else?
Console output attached. I'll try your binary now.

I'm trying to turn off a squeezelite player off every night at 11 pm.
The player is a RPi 3 running pcp 4.0.0. LMS 7.9 runs on a Synology NAS
in the local network.
So, I'm not good at scripting and might have to ask you guys later about
that, but for now my problem is at an even earlier stage...
i dont get it...

The advice you give is about how to solve the issue if the user cannot
access
Ok, I've ran the buildme-freebsd.sh script again. I had cd into the sox
directory it is in and that's what I'm trying to do, build libogg
manually. That's where I'm stuck. I have a working LMS but not very
useful due to lacking the main decoders. I couldn't see them alac, faad,
