I just got C-3PO plugin working which seems to solve some of the
problems. However, I now have
Out of 6 RPI units, I have upgraded 3 headless RPI3B+ units to PCP7. For
me Spotty/ Tidal/ BBC Sounds streaming works, but my ALAC/ .m4a library
doesn't play infact Squeezelite seems to "crash" and require a
restart.
I have reloaded clean PCP 6.1 and all now working again.

Hello ... insitu upgrade for 6 RPI units to PCP7. Three WiFi units
disconnected and I have struggled to get them working again. I have 3B+
unit on my desk and have done a fresh PCP7 install, used built in and
wifi dongles. I have no security, SSID is visible (and working). Both

I also have HiFiBerry DAC2 HD / PCP 6.1/ RPI4 4GB .. out of the box
the RCA volume was very very low . I shelved it a month ago for a
rainy day investigation as to what was wrong
I might now have some spare time :( ... I will come back with some logs
etc.
Updated to B7 on RPi4B (running LMS) and RPi3B (running Squeezelite).
Whole house networked system (including SB + Controllers). All working
well.
RPI4 is in a small cupboard (sitting on HDD) and running at a cool 45C
with one of these

Annoyingly, the PCP is still trying to announce it self directly on
Airplay (not via LMS) . an uninvited guest to a party! And it would
be nice to get rid of it and just use the LMS. How do I turn it off?

Thank you to everybody for this community. Works like a charm; picked up
straightaway by LMS and have used ShairTunes2(fork) to relay as Airplay
target "Kitchen".
