usb output worked so I reset to analog, so sound, played about with the alsa settings via ssh and got sound, reset the Squeezelite tad CArd settings to 0bd and playing music again. Still need a LMS restart ronnie who is going to try the line again and check the alsamixer this time round

I removed the line, backed up and rebooted. My Apps was empty (apart from App Gallery) restarted LMS and it populated. Still so sound, cursor is moving showing playback. I'm using the Analog Audio and have tried default sysdefault:CARD=ALSA hw:CARD=ALSA,DEV=0 hw:CARD=ALSA,DEV=1

I used to run LMS on the lite version of Raspbian, I now now use the Desktop Image https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbian_latest this has the advantage on a VNC server which allows easy remote access and card cloning. If LMS is installed correctly it should start when you power up the pi.

Thanks Paul I have been busy making a fresh image of LMS and Squeezelite on the Raspbian Desktop OS. Each restart of the raspberry pi has resulted in a populated My Apps. Before checking this thread I swapped the card back to the pCp image and upon going to My Apps it had only App Gallery

I just checked mine which is running v6.0.0.beta 7 and found that squeezelite would not start I went to the Squeezelite settings and found this new one, made the adjustment and rebootedsqueezelite running. Use at your own discretion :) 29217 ronnie
