Hi JackOfAll
it seems Rob has done a nice job at describing what he had to do to get

I tried installing from vortexboxbeta. No errors, but LMS will not run.
I uninstalled and by enabling community-squeeze I got this:

I would like to use the FE16 repo for my Vortexbox (for LMS,
BrutefirDRC..), but the web page states 'Coming soon...' Any chance of
an update or a quick howto?

Yes on Vortexbox and Voyage, the two others I've tried, it gives a
normal output so it is as I expected, Touch is different from a full
Linux distro.

Hi Triode
this may be a bug or it may be related to the way I have my two Touch
(both at 7.8 with EDO) units configured: I've disabled jive_alsa,
watchdog and squeezeplay so Touch is now booting

Hi,
I do not know about the mp3 dll for windows, but I've tried Squeezelite
on a Atom 450 netbook running the Voyage MPD linux distro
(http://linux.voyage.hk/voyage-mpd). This is optimised

You may want to check that in your own system if you own a Touch.

Good question... squeezelite delivers very good sound quality on the
laptops I've tried it on. I wanted to check if squeezelite also improves
sound from Touch. It does.
I've tested squeezelite on a couple of laptops booting the latest
live-cd from voyage-mpd. Works perfectly. Sound card is a Stello U3
USB-S/PDIF concerter (XMOS). I started to wonder which Linux distro and
hardware I should get to set up a permanent solution. An alix board with

For those interested. Version 1.3.0 of the LMS convolver plugin has just
