Possibly. Can you explain a bit more? Is there anything I can do about
that?

Hi folks, can I refer you to a thread on LMS 8.1?
On my version of pCP 7.0.0 I do not appear to have the manual LMS
upgrade options, so can only get what I am given, which is LMS 7.9.2

All working fine now, thanks! Doddle to set up as before, and I will

I have just bought a RPi 4 to create a new Squeezebox emulator. I have
flashed the PiCorePlayer 5.0.0 image onto a 32GB microSD card using the
recommended software.
I have then inserted it into the slot on the RPi, plugged in a network
cable connected directly to my router and then powered up th

Quick update. I have discovered that the Tibo speakers have a USB socket
at the back. I thought this was for a music

Thanks Ronnie. I actually don't have LMS on this. I have a NAS with LMS,
this is purely a player. I imagine it is mainly down to the WiFi and
networking issues, so I am looking more for feedback as to whether
people have a good experience using piCorePlayer with the iRP3 built in
Wi-Fi. In parti
I currently have piCorePlayer running on a Raspberry Pi Version 1 "B".

an IQAudio DAC). I am connecting it to my WiFi network using a generic
WiFi dongle which works fine provided it is "always on". However, when

Hi, really like my piCorePlayer for playing my FLAC music collection on
my NAS using the LMS Squeezebox system, and occasionally use Airplay
from my iPad. However, I would like to be able to play audio to the
piCorePlayer using a bluetooth connection from my Android phone. Is
there any way I can

OK, sounds like it is best to leave well alone then. If it ain't broke,
don't fix it!
Brilliant software. Once I got the hardware plugged together it took me
less than 10 minutes to have a working player showing up in the LMS web
interface. It does what it needs to do and (touch wood!) has been
I have piCorePlayer installed on a Raspberry Pi B with IQaudiO Pi-DAC
(yes, fiddly soldering job needed). Not sure which version of the
software I have, but it just works. It is always on 24/7, streams
uninterrupted, starts, stops, pauses, rewinds, fast forwards, volume up
and down as required.

The "donate" link in your sig is broken Steen. Still works from the
homepage though, but you might want to correct it.

Just want to install and go on a basic Raspberry Pi. Have ordered all
the bits. I will be using the standard headphone out into an
amplifier's "aux" input.
This is just providing my kids' iPod docking system with a Squeezebox
function - so no hi-fi required, no USB DAC and no high-res files. Jus
