Don't know Clear Linux ... Ubuntu works really well for LMS, and don't
forget that the PiCore player is based on tiny-core linux, and is very
solid as well..I am unfamiliar with how linux plays in a NUC
environment, but it should be fine ...

Cannot seem to do the upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0 on a RPI .. everything
downloads correctly, no errors,..then it simply restores the OS, and
reports an error with config.txt ..
Do I need a beefier PI ? It is currently running on a Pi 3B

Lo
So, are we saying LMS has "issues" in the 20.04 environment ?
I am using 16.04 with latest LMS - was considering moving to 20.04, but
maybe not so fast :)

FWIW - Just upgraded from 4.0 to 4.1 -- FLAWLESS. (RPI 3)
Rebooted and no issues. re-entered info for USB audio and codec, and off
to races ... music access seems to be MUCH faster/more esponsive .. Also
- the squeezelite service no longer needs to be manually re-started
after a reboot -- music
Happy to help ... sometimes I am just amazed all this stuff just works
when we ask it to, but sometimes it requires some gentle prodding .. ...
enjoy the Accuphase ...

Have Picore running on RPI 3, w/32GB Samsung card... works very
well...using USB DAC to feed FM tuner to RPI, then aplayer to record FM
Radio -- works like a charm..got NTFS share mounted, and files get
stored there..still getting used to TCE etc...wireless works fine. I
know people frown on this,
I currently run Vortexbox upstairs in a VM on ax XP Host ...
where will all your music be stored ? If it is currently stored on the
windows machine, you will need to connect/mount that folder , or simply
copy the library.
I upgraded the Ubuntu to 11.10 - no more advertising on the Sony player,
and, thankfully, no 'issues' with LMS
