Yes, it will work. Struts 1 uses org.apache.struts package while
Struts 2 (2.x, 6.x) uses org.apache.struts2

As you have probably already realised, Struts 1 to Struts 2 is a major upgrade.

The only solution to this is to ensure you have all the lastest patches and
then download Struts 1.2.4. Then just copy the jar and tld files over the
