Hello Bernie.
What you say makes sense. But is it possible to stay within PS, working on
the texture, and see it being rendered (e.g. on a second monitor) every time
you save it? Wthout switching from PS to RS, I mean. For me, the details of
a texture are crucial, and I don't want to switch back a

Like changing the
details of the texture: adding, moving or removing patterns, spots, scratches
etc on
surfaces like wood, stone or metal textures etc Bitmaps that I want to

Hello,
I have an idea for a new (?) feature in
RS:
It is about the process of making textures/maps (I
mean the bitmaps, Tiffs, Bmp, that you stick on the objects).
I think the workflow is very cumbersome: in
Photoshop (or another program) you make a texture. Then you save it. Then you g

Hello,
Does anyone know if Realsoft3D can open/convert
Real 3D project files (I'm planning to upgrade and want to know if I can use my
current project files in RS3D).
And if so, what will happen to b-spline objects?
Are B-splines still supported or will they be converted into something

That's impressive! Thanks, it's very clear this way.
One thing I don't get: you say the max size for textures is 1024x1024px. I
suppose you mean for previewing. I hope that I can use larger ones for the
final rendering!
About HT and dual core, is that the same thing? Two CPU's on one
motherboard?

Are you sure? I
thought that was only the case with trinitron-like tubes.

Hello,
Along with upgrading from Real3D te Realsoft3D, I'm
planning to buy a new screen and videocard. Does
any of you have tips?
About the screen:
I was thinking of a 21" CRT screen (because I don't
like the constrained view angle of TFT sceens and beacause of their price). Oh,
and I d

Who's Markus?

That kinda worries me. In Real3D there is material window with sliders for
the material properties (Effect, Brilliance, Transparency etc), and I like
that. Now it sounds as if in Realsoft3D to make the same
when you buy on internet, on the Realsoft
site?

Hello,
I am a Real 3D user considering upgrading to
Realsoft 3D.
I would like to know, is it possible in Realsoft 3D
-like in Real 3D- to open new view windows in which to construct and
render? In Real I do this all the time, making as much view windows as I need,
for specific construct
