camel-snmp is using an older 2.x version of snmp4j and it may be
limited what it can do.
there is a 3.x version of snmp4j

And it would be good to get camel-snmp upgraded to use this newer version.
Help with this is appreciated.

It looks like these options (authentication, privacy) only are available with
SnmpOIDPoller.
