Simple answer - Yes
You can migrate the root volume of any VM in a shutdown state to another
Primary Storage - SSVM copies it to Secondary first, then back to the new
Primary.
Alternatively, if you happen to be using XenServer 6.2, then you can use the
Storage Motion feature and live migrate

Hi Ahmad,
Thanks for your reply. I will try to use CloudMonkey to call the API. What
should I put the startdate and enddate? Shall I just put today's date or is
it OK for me to generate for say the last one week or one month?
Looking forward to your reply, thank you.

I believe that Hugo is also working on getting VXLAN based overlays
working on Xenserver with OpenDaylight. Might be something that requires
the next version of Xenserver however - something to do with OVSDB and how
the XAPI toolstack or Xenserver assign networks when there isn't
necessarily a VM

Look into what Wei pointed out as well, check to see if the usage process
is even running. There seems to be a workaround noted in that bug if the
usage server is hitting it.

it exactly means? Do I have to create new DNS servers? or is enough with

Maurice, in an advanced zone you can give your VMs a 10.x IP and then
do NAT
When setting up in advanced I assume the system reserved would need to be 10x.
As that would give the system VMs and all other soon to be provisioned VMs a
private IP?
Because the error I'm getting is CDIR for host doesn't match pod and zone, as
I'm using 10.x IP.

Lopez,
You can specify google DNS 8.8.8.8 and internal DNS which is used by
your company, I would suggest to google such issues first, you would get
solutions as they have been addressed previously many times.
