Hi All,
Good Morning,
I want to deploy ACS for production. So can anybody suggest me which version
should I take into production with more advanced features.
Looking forward for your valuable suggestions.
Thank you,
Anil.
Hi folks,
This is a shameless plug but if you want to read some exciting examples on how
to use CloudStack effectively and learn about all the tools that work with
CloudStack,
you might consider my book :)

I would suggest 4.3.1. But, I recommend taking a look at the release notes
and jira.

Hi**Sebastien
Can I ask does it cover security and how to configure various network
set ups via the web GUI?
I really love CS but taking it from a test bed to a production offering
is a really big leap without som e help.

Unfortunately no. It's not focused on installation, but rather on tools that
you can use with the API.

Hello,
What is best way to debug VPN connection? And how VPN really work on CS?
I see that in VR ipsec service is running, but where I can check
connection status?
In /var/log/cloud.log and /var/log/messages is not much useful information.
Thanks.

Hi Geoff,
the problem is occurring in different networks (all?) that are not changed.
For us is a big problem because I can not predict when it occurs and the
creation of new machines is blocked until a network restarts (this
method, among other things, cause a small interruption of service).
Hi Ugo,
What system VM template did you use? (exact download URL please)

Hello,
Have found very unplesent behaviour : when I execute „stop
instance“ command Cloudstack actually destroys VM from hypervisor. No errors or
other warnings has been issued. Management log shows:

To clarify..
When XenServer is being used with CloudStack it behaves differently than a
standalone XenServer.
When a VM is running, it is shown in XenCenter or when listed via XE commands
etc.
However when you stop a VM, as far as XenServer is concerned it has been
destroyed, with only the Vo
You are right, CS tries to re-create VM, but fails with this:

As far as I can tell, we're not going to see Centos 7 support for the
management server on any 4.3 or 4.4 branch but the 4.5 branch should have
it in already. Can't comment on compute hosts however.
I'd love to hear if anyone knows otherwise though, especially about

Hello,
I am little confusing. Steps from documentation to start work with VPN:

ACS is java dependent - not kernel, if you can get all packages aligned
properly using Java 7, technically it should work.

Java 8 is another question. So far I have not had any issues with it for
