I think i would approach this by using a database program rather than importing
into a spreadsheet program. A database program such as Base should be able to
read the text-files directly. Queries, Forms and Reports can be set-up to do
the required calculations.

There are several fonts included within the Mac OS X LibreOffice package.
The only one I care about and use--DejaVu--I already have on my system
because I previously downloaded and installed that font. The rest just

If you have a dual-boot system or a Linux Cd that you have already tried as a
LiveCd then I guess you could try moving the fonts to a different folder and
