That looks better to me. I'm not a programmer and don't understand code but it
looks like a lot less lines and hopefully that results in faster execution of
the code. So more cpu cycles for the actual processing and less used up in the
overhead of producing the timer-indicator.

I know it can be achieved by
1. inserting default footer
2. then inserting page number field.
But in this case by default the page numbers come in english.
Is there any way to give the page numbers in any language ?

for itself, and has nothing do do with oder collums.

yet to tell us exactly what you are trying to do.
Yes, it is a juggle. Anchor to paragraph has the problem that you cant
choose the paragraph it anchors to. There is some internal algorithm
where the anchor can flick up and down between paragraphs.

It is not an .xlsx file. .xlsx files are a kind of Zip package, similar to how
.ods is a special Zip package.
Rename it to .xml.
Try opening it, in LibreOffice, as Microsoft Excel 2003 XML.
Also, Excel should be able to open it as an XML file unless it has been damaged.
