Thank you for your response. I am using ubuntu 14.04, however ideally
any solution would be Excel compatible if possible. In regard to your
suggestion, perhaps I'm missing something but I don't see the advantage
of inserting a DDE link (assuming I can even do that).

Thank you for your response. Each letter to be generated relies on one
single spreadsheet for all its data.

Thank you for your response. I looked at the link you provided. That's
an interesting solution, but I'm not sure it would work. It's probably
important to know that there are multiple sheets in each spreadsheet
file. Also, I don't know how I'd find the cells I need once the files
are merged.
I'm working on a graphic in LO Draw with several layers. Now I want to
merge those layers, but I can't find how to do that. I tried grouping
but I can only select one element at a time, even with 'Shift' held down.
Thanks.

Do you have experience with programming? If not - you're not going to be
able to change these things. You'll have to build LibreOffice and hack the
code in order to make these changes.

Hi :)
Sorry you haven't had any answers! I'm not sure how to change the "Start
Centre" if it's not affected by the themes/personalisation and i am
guessing it isn't otherwise the problem would have been solved by now!
Hopefully someone here might be able to help sometime!
