Can anyone help me on following queries :
1) How to find the existing apache web server mode? (running command 'file
httpd' from Apache - bin will give the mode. Is it correct?)
2) If we install Apache web server 2.2 on 64 bit RHEL5.2, what will be its mode

Hi All,
I would like to create different apache2.2.8 daemon on RHEL5.1 so that
they can be started and stopped without affecting each other. I do the
same on windows by creating IP based virtual server as different daemon.
To achieve the same on RHEL5.1 I considered the following two
appraoches.
I have developed a apache connector that makes SSL connection to my
back-end Application. This connector seems to be working fine on RHEl4.5
but it is not working on RHEL5.1.
Do I need to add some rpm/package specifically required to make SSL
connection on RHEL5.1
