Hi did an upgrade to F28 on my brothers box. All went smooth. Problem now: Nautilus is unable to start. did a nautilus -c on command line with user account: nothing starting nautilus with root account from command line: nautilus starts reinstalling all nautilus packages doesn't fix it. Ideas ?

maybe, like in my case, the external monitor is being used as an extension of your built-in LCD display? so it appears blank. my Cinnamon crashes after i login but thankfully it restarts fine. never checked further as i switched to KDE Plasma due to some other reasons.
