You are right. I use dnf via command-line 99.99% of time but mistakenly clicked
update on the Plasma Updater which might have messed it up.

I am not sure what happened but I had locked the update of geoclue2 via dnf
versionlock but it has been updated anyway.

but with this machine, hibernate reliably worked on 4.8.4 but the unreliability

Dynamic power on/off of external graphic card is a kernel/nouveau
feature. Bumblebee let's you turn on dedicated card for specific

It doesn't. For all intents and purposes your system froze and you have to do
a hard boot
on kernel-3.16.2. I don't seem to have that problem with
kernel-3.16.3.
