but if one uses a Qt-based app, then all these issues are very real.

For qt4 you need qt-devel and for qt5 qt5-qtbase-devel.

is a little bit
annoying to download the installer from qt-project, when there's a version
in fedora's repos; but without all the complete packages. So I have to
choose between "versions" of the _exactly_ same thing: the tested version
in fedora ready to "yum-install"

I'm a Portuguese user and, in FC18 (after upgrade from FC17), I no
longer have correct keyboard input in Qt apps (Nixnote and Skype). Gnome
apps are ok.
