[one-users] onevm auth error

Okay, so I changed the password for the oneadmin user via the sunstone interface - now the commandline is suddenly broken :( The one_auth file needs to have an encrypted string for the password - plain text does not work. So how do I generate an encrypted password ? Regards, Adrian Snyman Li

In case we are going to deploy OpenNebula we will use GPFS as our clustered FS ... Since it does not answer your question: In case NFS is used you must make sure that: • The NFS server exports the FS with the “sync” option. Otherwise data corruption could/will during server crash. • The NFS c

Hi, What I meant it that an external script could monitor each physical host, get the free storage and, if it is lower that a threshold (e.g. 10 or 20 GB) execute a 'onehost disable hostname'. This way you will prevent the scheduler from sending VMs to that host from that moment onwards. Regards

If you are looking at HA at storage level, it would be better you have Heartbeat/Failover on the NFS resource than failing over to secondary front-end server. Anyway your NFS is mounted on the compute nodes and if one storage goes down, heartbeat will failover to another storage. Your frontend does

It is plain nfsclient to nfsserver behavior. Hypervisor is just acting as NFS client. The OS of the VM is caching the writes in memory and periodically writing to Hard disk. During the failover the NFS client will continue to try to write but will fail if it cannot connect to the NFS server before
