Ah... it seems that the instructions for Beta2.0 has not been updated
from 1.1.4 (you'll see the setup guide was for 1.1.X).
To install on winXP simply double click on the *msi file - that will
take care of a network setup accordingly.

I have looked at the sample and the problem is caused by all the extra
cells that are formatted with borders. This apparently was caused by
selecting the entire row(s) by clicking on the row number in the left
margin rather than selecting only the cells to be formatted.

I don't believe that you need M$ Access installed in order to access a
.mdb file from OOo.. (using windows that is). It would well worth
giving it a try before searching through all the google hits.

I installed Openoffice.org so I can create forms to enter data into SQL
tables I created using SQL.yog. My problem is as follows...

On the DB Wizard screen I took option 3 to setup JDBC connection.

When I loaded the latest openoffice, I associated it with PowerPoint. I'd like
to go back to the usual MS PowerPoint viewer. How do I un-associate openoffice?

in the utilities file and not found a file with that name. I

Put your MacOS install cd/dvd back in and install your OS again, keep
al preferences (custom setting) and then cutom install and make sure
you check X11, not installed by default.
OR
Goto Apple's site, search for X11 download, they should have
something, but it will probably be a large fil

You need to go into OOo and create a new data source, link to the .mdb
file, etc..

changes?? Does ANYthing happen?
What if you move the margins by hand?( Mouse over the boundary between
white and gray in the ruler until you get a two-way arrow--then click
and drag the boundary. Once you've done this, o
find any ppt file and rt-click and select properties and then "opens
with" or some such thing. There is an option to tell Windows to use the
selected SW to open all files of the type.
