Okay, I've got X11 installed and OpenOffice.org installed on OS X 10.3.9. When I run OpenOffice.org from the icon, it automatically runs X11 (like it's supposed to), but after a few seconds, the OOo icon leaves the dock like it had been quit. OOo never runs the splash screen or anything, it just

At the top of my xml file, I can define named "entities" in which to store values. Those values can then be retrieved by simply delimiting the entity's name with & and ;. How can this or something similar be done in OOWriter?
