I understand about avoiding pleadings -- they should be very high on
your Miss It If You Can List.
Thanks for the help.

For example, how well will OO for Mac do a California Pleading?
It can, but it requires a
eading to work nearly correct. There are still glitches from
time to time. I'm wondering if its worth the effort to switch to OO.
Nothing will match WordPerfect. Ever. I keep thousands of WPD files
in archive and use them from time to time to copy text (NeoOffice can
open and you ca
could send it to my client.

My installation of NeoOffice for Mac has NO file associations for all
wordperfect files, and there are about 3G I plan to transfer from an
old Windoze machine.
Is there any danger to doing it this way? Will I be able to transfer
the files back to WP, say an install running under Parallels o
.stw file extensions,
and Quicktime is trying to open them.
Hm..

On my brand new iMac-Intel I've successfully downloaded OO for Mac,
and an icon is on its desktop. Nothing happens when I double click
the icon, and I get the same negative result when in the box for OO.
Someone said I need X-11. Where is that?
Thanks for all the help.

This
ng to a Mac for home
use. WordPerfect's last version for the Apple OS probably won't run
on a new iMac; it's ten years old.
