Dan, I would suggest spreadsheet, which is what I do. I can add movies to the bottom of the column, then sort on the first column -- BAM! -- list is ordered again. I would suspect a database would be even more versatile, but require a little more thought to be done right. The spreadsheet was just

Burton, This looks just like an issue I was encountering a short time ago. I have a Mac Mini. I work on papers, and sometimes the filenames have single quotes (') in their names. While this wasn't a problem with OOo on my PC (WinXP), it appears to be on the Mac. I highly suspect a shell script

Bill, You need to use the one which is included on your System disks. The X11*User* package in the following location: *Mac OS X Install Disc 1 - /System/Installation/Packages/X11User.pkg* This, and other MacOSX settings related to this, are in an oft-quoted resource which you should get/read.
