My experience with WinXP/SP3, Intel CoreDuo 2GhZ, 4Gb Ram, is that it is
faster than 3.1, but it is very crash prone at the point of saving a file
at least in OOW... which is not good, not to mention a big waste of time.
Now in most all cases I was able to recover the files, but sofar nothing

Lately my open file/save file/save as dialog fails after running OOO a few
times - this is on a Win XP/PRO SP3 machine... but it also happened before
I went to SP3 --- in all I end up having to re-install after using it
about 3 times, which is really not workable.

I'm running into a persistent formatting problem. It is a quote within
brackets, which seems to prevent the sentence from wrapping around in a
normal way.
