You get a Word-like program called Writer...
Word is a program that belongs to a office-suite called Microsoft Office
and that programsuite isnĀ“t free to use, like OpenOffice is.

Well, I know I wrote something like the stupid man, but of course I didn't
really mean that he is stupid. He's a chemist and I am sure he is good at
that and some other things as well. Maybe stupid wasn't the best choice of

No. You will get OpenOffice if you download OpenOffice. Within OpenOffice
there is a component called 'writer' which functions almost the same as MS
Word. From writer you can save documents
