OpenOffice 2.0 has replaced the 1 feature that sold me on it. Auto-save, true saving of your document on a timer. This is the reason I use and recommend OpenOffice over Microsoft. It has now been replaced by Auto-recovery save. which is the exact reason I can't stand to use MS Office.

Is there a way to use the auto save option without having it prompt you every stinking time it tries to save the file? I have checked the auto save box but the prompt to save box is clear. Still every time it tries to save I am prompted, this is extremely annoying. How do I stop this from
