This is a problem of the "lightning invers" extension and not with
lightning itself.
Google calendars work great with lightning. But if I a deinstall
lightning and replace it with the invers edition no events aren't shown
anymore.
I deleted the caches but that doesn't solve the problem.

A bug I already reported here some weeks ago remains in the latest

Searching directly in the addressbook through the global ab works.

I've imported a non-DOS ICS file to a calendar and did a backup with

In this case, show us evidences.
Create an event in Lightning, tell us at what date/time you've created

I'm using America/Chicago TZ. The view does not appear to make any
difference. The times are still 2 hrs off.
My sogo server was upgraded using the command: aptitude dist-upgrade. I
tried running the sql upgrade script (found in /usr/share/doc/sogo) but
it did not appear to make any changes
I've installed the required TB 3.1 addons from the nightlies URL and once I've
created an event/task and saved it I can't open or edit it anymore in TB 3.1.
The events are in my personal calendar. I've tested this on Windows 7 and on
Ubuntu Lucid Desktops and editing fails on both platforms.
Edit
Can you remind us which timezone you are using? Also, in which view
(month, day, week?) does the problem occurs?
