New to SOGo. The SOGo Connector for Thunderbird is not available at
mozilla.org. Why not?
So, I tried to download from
http://www.sogo.nu/english/downloads/frontends.html. That threw an error
message, that it can't be installed for Thunderbird because it is not
compatible with Firefox
How did you install the plugin?

I didn't. I just clicked on the SOGo Connector Thunderbird Extension
button http://www.sogo.nu/english/downloads/frontends.html, Firefox did
the download (to memory, not to disk), tried to automagically install, then
threw the error. There was no obvious alternative way to install.
