Been thinking about
Log4j -> syslog -> syslog server
That way you can look at the server and also at the syslog server ... give you
a real time view.
I keep my per server syslogs for 4-7 days and the on the syslog server for
months ..

Hi
I have a design question. I have an application that uses long lived
connections back to the server so
App -> IIS -> AJP Connector -> Jboss/Tomcat
Or
App -> Apache -> AJP Connector -> Jboss/Tomcat
So I know that IIS / Apache can handle lots of connections without pairing it 1
thread to 1

I saw a thread earlier about chunked encoding and why

We had done a fair bit of testing on this setup enough to move into production.
But we ran into a problem ... when IIS recycle its application pool. Luckily

Hi
Hopefully this is the right list :)
I have
2 x W2k8r2 + NLB (Network load balancing) + IIS 7.5 + Tomcat Plugin => 2 x
RHEL 6.1 + Jboss 7 (I think). (not setup in JBoss cluster mode)
We have a .net client that talks to the IIS and then onto Jboss.
We have been running some tests
