You could create two files though (1,3):
1. bpstart_notify - create the dump here
2. the backup will back it up to the path you specify in the policy
3. bpend_notify - remove it when its done
These files go in openv/netbackup/bin.

If you have a unix master, you can install to a unix client using the
console.

You can install UNIX/Linux clients from the Java GUI. But not windoze
clients. At least the option doesn't appear. If you click on Policies
-- Summary of All Policies -- Clients then right click on a client it
will show

Just upgraded to NBU 6.5.5 and have discovered that trying to do a find
all in the activity monitor causes the GUI (also upgraded on all
workstations) to hang. Doing a find next will go a line that doesn't
have the search string in it. Can use find just fine when searching
media,
