I checked 'em all--recurring days of week, Sun-Sat. Just looked at the
test server, and it's done a calendar-based backup each night at the
start of the 2300-2200 wi

I do not have documentation for my specific error. I called in Case
280-593-264 to Veritas support for help with my issue. I have used
calendar based scheduling
nse I was given from Symantec.

And your documentation is what, exactly?

My apologies for ever contemplating the use of calendar scheduling!
Whatever was I thinking??
I fully understand frequency based scheduling and I will continue to use it until Control Data Corporation, OpenVision Technologies, VERITAS Software, symantec, or whoever owns BackupPlus, Axxion-NetB

Hi Bob
We had a similar
problem with our quarterly backup. It should only run 4 times a year but tried
to run instead of the week
I'm an advocate of calendar-based scheduling, so I'll kick in my 2 cents
worth ...
You got a "17.30_mon_calendar" full backup Monday evening because (1)
you have a window there, (2) you have "retry after run day" and (3) the
schedule does not yet have a backup. It's kind of like NetBackup thin
backup has gone goofy.
