Both rods are fiberglass, top one is made by Powell, bottom by Fern Claudio.
Both are/were members of the club. Claudio rods sell for over $1,000.00 when

My first choice is the Rite bobbin, then a Mattarelli midge for Pearsalls
thread. That said, I've recently discovered it really doesn't matter what
bobbin I use.

I had the pocket fishermen way back as a teen. More a novelty than anything. I
think it was pretty cheaply made, didn't last long before things started
breaking.

I've been dealing with incompetent management at work for some time. I came
back to work today after taking yesterday off to go fishing and both screwups
have been removed.
Moral of the story, a fishing trip can truly solve all your problems! AND, a

With a sink tip, I usually have to roll cast the line and leader up to the
water surface before I can perform a back cast.
