pack of @25 and are less than $2.

Oh, don't worry! Don't feel upstaged! I've just
it right off the
spool. Start wrapping it and when I have enough on the hook, just give it a
pull and it breaks off at the hook shank. No waste.

I actually don't use it all that often. It was included in a tying kit
I bought about 7 or 8 years ago, and I'm still using the same spool of
lead. It and my extra pair of scissors are really all that remain of
that original kit. I just can't bring myself (yet) to buy new weight,
lead or substitute

I know lead is taboo in some fly circles, (so don't eviscerate me,
lol) but to get an even heavier fly beyond the bead, I've been tying
in some lead before I wrap the marabou.
This is a great, easy fly to tie, and best of all, doesn't require a
lot of exotic materials. Didn't know it had been tied
