Call us mercenary, but the numbers don't lie. Our audience seems to

I'm curious what others feel about the experience of watching video embedded
in a blog / webpage of other content vs the old fashioned experience of just
the movie opening in a new window. Like not even a pop up - a whole window.
Maybe its my emotional tie to a more theatrical world, but I am so

No, you will have to re-create the link in Flash. Ie. by creating your own

Check this out. It is a wordpress blog, but it has a video clip
embedded in the template. It's clip of the blogger giving his elevator

Hey dude. On a mac, if you "get info" on the file "FileGet Info" - it will tell you the dimensions if its a quicktime file...Not sure about the PC, though.bOn 18-Oct-05, at 8:50 PM, silther wrote: I'm new to vlogging, so this is probably a stupid question, but I didn't see an answer after a
In windows the easiest way is to open the file in a player.
in Windows Media Player (for WMVs) you can then go to File-Properties
in QuickTime Player (for MOVs and others) you can hit cntrl-i
(There are ways to make WMVs display this information within the file
