Browser options may include Netscape, IE, iCab, MacWeb, CyberDog, and MacLynx.
Since you are running OS 8. there may be a very of Opera that would work.

I finally gave up and send the computer to a technician to have a look. He
booted it with System 8 from the CD and everything worked flawlessy. He
formatted the HD and installed System 8 without a glitch. The battery seems
to be failing as would save little energy and after a few hours unplugge

Try the following:
1) Disconnect both the FDD and HDD: power on
Do you see the blinking FDD icon and hear the startup bong or does the
screen remain completely black ?
If not screen: Check the bulb at the back of the Yoke: you should see it
glow in the dark.
Also check if the screen is st
