Well, I wanted to let everyone know that I tried thee IIcx's twin brother
out (same hard drive, memory, etc.) and it worked fine. It must have been
the clock chip on that motherboard. Now I don't know what to do with the
first one.

I used to run Colorit on these machines in my class. I got it out of David
Pogue's Mac Secrets Book. It was very good, although not quite as powerful
as Photoshop.

Photoshop on my PC (pardon the profanity ;)
then I can move the images to my mac if needed...

If you have a field strenght meter or some other way to check the crystal on
the clock circuit might reveal that the crystal is the culprit also...

I just acquired a Jasmine Technologies, Inc. DirectDrive.It has no power
cord and do not know if it needs an adapter. I have searched all over but
come up empty. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
