simms. Bad advice, sorry. Putting IIfx simms into a 8*24GC causes a direct short on the +5 VDC power line. I have verified this with ohmmeter readings. Therefore, one or more NuBus slots in DeVaul's IIci may be nuked, as well as possibly any other NuBus cards that he had in there at the time. Gamba

for that card gives instructions on how to change the slot address jumpers so that PDS cards can be stacked. The same manual does not mention doing that on an SE/30. So it looks like the SE/30 and IIsi PDS slots may be more different than is commonly believed. Gamba http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2

. Jim Scott Jim, the Radius card (and AFAIK any PDS video card) won't show up in Slot Info or TattleTech unless card is being used. If it's connected to a monitor, and active, it would show up at slot address $0A or $0B or $0C or $0D, but never $00 or $0E. Gamba http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2

on Apple's 7.5 Disk Tools floppy if other stuff is deleted. If that works then the next step is to add RamDisk 3.2.4 to 7.5 Disk Tools and set it up so that it transfers System Folder to ramdisk then ejects. A 2nd floppy with MNU and other utilities can then be used. Gamba http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2
