Many plastic items have an international
recycling code icon somewhere, usually on the outside
for utilitarian stuff like milk jugs and on the inside
of parts that won't be recycled for years if ever.

ABS glue backed up with a piece of flat ABS sheet
for strength. The glue actually partially dissolves
the plastic so it makes a very strong bond. You'll
need to remove any paint or other coating from the
inside surface where the backing sheet will be.

want as long as it's black. That's assuming the
case is ABS. There are universal glues for PVC,
CPVC,
ABS and other plastics. It's intended for cases

Adam, have you considered something like QuickKeys (haven't used it) or
Tempo II Plus? The latter was more a scripter than macro recorder.
