I guess no menus in my area have been submitted as I have flicked and flicked
and there is no menu button anywhere for any restaurant, which I find strange

Ok, I can actually give out two compelling reasons to try Viber.
1. It offers push notifications compared to Skype.
2. Unless specified otherwise, only contacts that use Viber appear in
your list. With Skype you can import your contacts, but all will be
shown regardless if they are using Skype.
I think your existing phone number becomes your viber id so no need to create a
separate account.
There is a limitation on incoming numbers in case of skypr. You have to pay for
it and in many countries incoming numbers do not exist in case of skype. That
is the second advantage for some people
The max on my iPhone is 1 thousand. I've had as many as 7 hundred.

Canada and while the app lists a dozen or so restaurants including Boston
