Absolutely, I do that all the time. Just double tap on the feed in the main
screen to show all the episodes currently downloaded/queued. Find an episode,
do a one-finger flick up or down, and double tap when you hear "delete".

Speaking of the direct TV app, when the receiver can be detected which is more
often than not it is not detected, but when it is the app is very accessible
you can go through your playlist and everything.
