Hi Alan,
Nah it’ll work fine. Just remember if you have too many problems turn the
phone off let it charge for a couple hours and then recheck. You’ll be fine.

Hello there,
I’ll tell you why I don’t buy them. Why buy something when you already have a
cable that works. In other words, I am cheap.

Hello there,
Yeah it’s all about the money. Each cable and transformer costs so the more
they sell the more they make.

Hi Alan,
This should not harm your phone at all. I charge my phone using both a micro
USB cable along with a lightning to micro USB adapter and I get this message
all the time when I plug the phone in and once the phone is done charging. Thus

Hi Andrew,
Sounds like it may have just been a slow internet connection. Remember that
this is like using Facetime and I certainly have used Facetime with my parents
who live in a very remote area in Northern BC where they only have a 3G cell

Hi Simon,
Others already explained what these apps do. The thing is that if you haven’t
had a need for fancy word processing, doing spreadsheets or presentations on
your iPhone you really don’t need them. In any case, Pages is accessible, but
not really all the way accessible. I doubt you wo

Fanus, It is a plastic piece at the end of the lightning connecter that does
not go into the phone. It is the part that would be directly against the
iDevice when plugged in. You pull this off and you will have a piece of plastic

I thought that I did something wrong when setting up my iPhone 6, somehow
getting these by mistake. I deleted them. Are they accessible and of use?
Thanks.

Hello List,
I reported a day or so ago that I'm getting a "This accessory may not be
supported" message from my new iPhone 6 when I charge it using its lightning
cable plugged into either a USB extension cable connected to my computer or
one connected to the Apple AC adapter. At least one other

Selecting text that isn't in an edit field is a quirky process. There are a
couple of workarounds if selecting it directly doesn't work. You can try
hitting reply and then the text will be editable, making it a bit easier. You
can also have Voiceover read a chunk of text, then use the copy last-

Hello Everyone,
The other day, I was in an E-mail that I had received, trying to select some
text, and I found that, in part of the message, the text simply would not
select. I wanted to select by line. I set the rotor to line. I then
placed two fingers on the screen and move them apart and
I would agree with this, but, be aware, when the start up money runs
out you will probably have to pay for this service too. I don't have
a problem with companies charging for these apps but it can be a
financial burden on some of us.

Than'ks Christopher for this additional information.
Yes, I know I use my Googlemail address for this list, but use iCloud for other
things, and it was that address to which I referred.
I know how to handle Google spam, but iCloud wasn't letting me play ball, hence
my question; but eventually I

These used to be paid apps that Apple is now including with newer
iPhones. I think this started with the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 5s. iMovie
allows you to record and organize your movie collection. The other three
