I use Alex at about 53% and it works fine. I like the clarity of the voice.

Hi are any of you using the Alex voice on your phone?
And if so what made you select it over all the other voices that you can use on
your iPhone?
Also what is the speed rate you find that he reads the best where you can

Hi all,
VoiceOver has started using a different voice on certain items on my iPhone

text field as usual but then I hear the word "Search". The word search is

It is the three step process. 1. up volume, 2, down volume, and you want to do
those two fairly quickly; then 3, hold the power button without also holding
either volume button.
It will take at least 6 to 10 seconds before the power off message goes away
and it starts the reboot process.
HTH,
Hi Richard,
Do I hold the up-and-down volumes at the same time while holding the power
button or do I push the up volume then the down button and then hold the power
button??
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
There is a free Apple book for using Numbers. You can get it using the Books

I suspect this book is written for sighted users but there may be enough useful

What I've done is, if you can figure out what app is playing the music, go into
that app then remove it from the app switcher. I've found that if I paus stuff
before doing the removal, I haven't had a problem. Just that I generally
forget to do it. Hell getting old.

Yes, if the person on the other end of your call hangs up before you do the two

Hi,
This usually happens when you use a "magic tap", which is a 2-finger double
tap. I am guessing that when you tried the 3-finger double tap, it registered
as a 2-finger double tap. When music starts to play, simply do another 2-finger
double tap and it should stop.

Hello,
Normally a two finger double tap will start and stop music playback.
Perhaps your device registered your doing a two finger double tap and hence
music started playing.
Hope that helps.

What the iPhone registered when you thought you did a 3-finger double tap was a
2-finger double tap which is the so-called "magic tap" which works as

Not unless you've iOS13 and up can this be done. Also it depends on if the
