That is not the case with Duolingo. There aren’t any photos they display the
words both in English and the language that you’re learning say English in
Spanish for example and you have to match the Spanish word with the English
word no pictures involved there are tabs per options

This is not the way the current app works. I haven't encountered any such
questions in the over 60 lessons I've done so far. Give it a try and see.

I am currently using the Duo Lingo app to study some French. I find it totally
accessible so far. The app does have a subscription version that will remove
ads and some other usage limits but I am not certain of the cost as I am just

Try Duolingo you can use it on the web duolingo.com or on the appstore you can
find it and it's very accessible and has the languages you are interested in. I
love the app and I use it on a regular basis it’s like playing a game except
