Hi, This sounds suspiciously like you may have "screen recognition" turned on for an app that is already fully accessible. Check this seting in: Settings/Accessibility/Voiceover/Voiceover Recognition/Screen Recognition. If it is on, try turning it off then going back to the app you were using.

Getting into the cost of the sensors etc. is really getting off topic for the list. I would suggest that you call a local pharmacy to find out what they charge for the sensors out-of-pocket. Also, don’t forget to call your insurance company and see what the criteria would be to have the sensors

Try a three finger double tap to toggle speech on. You should hear it say, speech on. If it says speech off, then speech was already on and you may have to try getting VoiceOver reading and tapping the up volume button until you hear something. Your volume may have gotten turned down
