For what it’s worth, there is a setting to not require attention for Face ID
that makes it more forgiving.

I went out in bright sunlight, but some people say that is absolutely not
necessary. Since the guy at Wal-Mart could not do it, I wondered at the time,
if light had something to do with it. Now, I simply do not know why we could
not get it done at Wal-Mart.

I had to set up facial ID, Mich, on my iPhone 11, coming from the original SE.
The reason was that the SE had touch ID, and so facial ID had to be set up on
my phone. Somehow, the guy at Wal-Mart, where I got the phone could not set it
up, but I did. Now, people say it is not necessary to do it,
I totally agree about passcode and facial ID.

I have it disabled too.
It is good that there is facial ID, because I had a friend being treated for

Hi.
A way to stop an alarm is with Siri. The way I do it is to tell it to remove
that specific alarm. If the alarm you're setting is for every day or weekdays,
it would mean setting it up again, but again, Siri is your friend.
Just a thought.
Have a blessed day and don't work too hard.
Kevin,
I wonder if where one is when they initially set up face ID would make a
diference? I know it is not supposed to make that much of a difference, but I
do wonder. When I get a modern phone and want to set up face ID, I will go
outside, not in direct sunlight, but using outside light. Some peopl
You will be prompted to enter a passcode and set up Face Id during the setup
process of a new phone. If you wish you can skip it there and get everything
done first, then simply go to Settings > Face Id and Passcode and then set up
the passcode and afterwards set up Face Id.

everything will restore to your new phone. Is the same way that you had

I would say face ID works for me about 50% of the time. for reasons unclear to

it. One thing that has helped me is to also set up the alternate face ID so

Why don't you use Face Id, for me it works better than Touch Id ever did, but
of course that is partly because I do at time use my hands for physical labour

OK, are you trying to edit occur an alarm or add a new one? If you're adding a

or down to adjust the hour. Or the minute. And if you're in the alarm, the
snooze button is just directly past the sound button. And mine c

Open up the clock app, go to the edit alarm button, and deselect the snooze
switch. Otherwise, just hit the stop button and that'll keep the snooze from
happening. In other words, don't hit your lock screen button. That will snooze
your alarm.

When the alarm goes off, I find a clock button in the upper left corner of the
screen. Using VoiceOver actions, I flick down to stop the alarm, and it doesn't
snooze. I'd have to look in the clock app settings, which you should be able to
get to in Settings -> clock, to see if there's a way to j
What do I do to keep snooze button from ever happening. I do
not like it at all. So, when I turn off the alarm, does
anyone know what I could do to stop snooze too? Thanks.

I agree with you, I'm not sure I'm fan of fice
id either. You've gotten some good tips. Rather then mucking around with the
sim card, why not just turn off passcode and face id? That'd be what I'd do.
