Hello Karen,
I had this same issue on an iPhone10r and I did try using an external
braille display (Focus 14 Blue) in my case to try and enter the
passcode to unlock the phone. I was not able to do this and I had to
enter the passcode without sighted help using just the touch screen. I
also tried
Just explained it in the previous message:
Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut, it is the second last item
from the bottom, only thing underneath it is "Per App Settings".
Instead of swiping right all the way through all the options you can do a
4-finger single tap on the bottom
Where would I go to check of the Shortcut is off that has been mentioned?

I don’t either, but after they defined the gesture, they duplicated it just
fine.
Of course, the ones on the accessibility line are not the same ones who are
actually doing the fixing and probably who already knew about this.
If my wife updates before the first 16.x update, I will ask her to
Hi Richard,

Then check Settings > Accessibility almost at the very bottom, when the
"Accessibility shortcut" is mentioned which is the triple press of the side
button, this has nothing to do with the Shortcuts app.

Hi List,
I thought some who have yet to update to iOS 16 might like reading about my
experience earlier today. Here are the steps I followed in this process:
1. I had 107 app updates in the App Store so I updated all of them
before starting the iOS update.
2. I opened the App
For some reason, many people are having trouble getting BARD 2.0.
Methods folks have used that have worked.
One, find it on the app store, double tap on the name, and you should find an
update button.
Two, Do a one finger triple tap on the app store icon to bring up the context

I’ll post info on getting BARD 2.0 under that topic.

Joe, thanks for bringing this issue up. I have an iPhone 12 mini and I have
updated to 16, now experiencing the same thing myself. I did write to Apple
accessibility, so maybe enough people will alert them of this, so that it can
be fixed.

That was a good thought, but in my case, when I checked, the accessibility
shortcut was indeed on, and did not work at the boot tup until the passcode had
been entered.

Of late, Apple Accessibility has been great about responding to emails and
often with useful responses beyond we forwarded it to the right team.
I wrote them about the permission to paste issue and they wrote back asking for

Hello Jen,
I've taken a look at the music app in control centre, I can't for the

The Shazam app not only identifies music but offers a list of the most
popular songs from the artist and similar sounding artists. The app
also provides a concert schedule of the artist, highlighting any
concerts happening near the end user. I find all of this information
quite valuable and
Several people have said that if you search for it in the app store, double tap
on the name, not the open button, in there is an update button.

I'm assuming you're in My Account in the app store. Double-tap on Purchased. I
think there will be a search field where you can type BARD. Be sure to use all

button.
Hope this helps.

No matter what I do, I cannot bring BARD 2.0 to the update screen. I've
tried refreshing the screen with a 3-finger swipe up (or is it swipe down, I
can never remember). Nothing happens. I think they need to fix it.
