One of my colleagues is trying to help people use Seeing AI and has
reported for the second time not being able to create the Siri
shortcuts for the various channels in the app. Has anyone experienced
anything similar and if so, what was the solution?

Sometimes people with some usable vision want to have some but not all things
spoken. In that case, speak screen and speak selection can be very useful.

This still works for me. I was able to touch a message within a conversation
and with the rotor on actions, flick down to more, double tap then choose
forward, put my email address in the to field and hit send just like with any
other text message. The email came to my junk folder with nothing

Personally I like the database Digit-Eyes uses but don’t know if it is
available on line or if it gets updated any more.
Perhaps someone knows of a database of barcodes that would accept this number
and give back better results than Google.

The following information is important

The only other thing I can imagine doing is completely restoring my new
phone from a backup of the old one in iTunes but I'm not sure I want the

Last time this happened to me, it was something to do with changes in facebook.
Eventually the dev fixed things. ,I can't remember exactly how I contacted
him, but it started somewhere in the app, maybe in settings. Response was a
little slow, but he did get back to me and the support ticket p

Another good walki-talky app is Zello. You can talk privately to other users,
create channels for multiple users and add existing channels if you search
specifically for blindness someone has created a channel which appears near
the top of the list of search results that is labeled with chann
