It does help a bit. One thing I particularly dislike is having to see my
entire day laid out and having to flick through hour by hour to find my
appointment. I also miss having the month view and the ability to list all
my appointments.

While I personally would like to see some allowable customizations this is
not a bug. This is a design decision by Apple. So this would not be

This may be obvious, but I was just reminded by a friend to use siri to
check my calendar events. It works like a charm. I just said, "Check my
calendar for the week, and got the whole week's events. Easy solution, at
least for me.

To enter an event that is not on the hour, double-tap the start time on the
edit screen (the screen where you are adding an event) and you will be given a
picker for the hour and minute where you can select the exact time you'd like

First, calendar events do not always show. I have two active calendars, and
often times I will not see any schedule events. However, if I go to the month
at the top of the calendar and go back and month and then forward to the
current month, events will show up. I can look at and events details
